Groom Mate Platinum XL Nose & Ear Hair Trimmer

I bought this item a little over a week ago, and when I first opened it, I couldn't even get the darn thing to work, they say to wash it under hot water or in alcohol before use, so I did exactly that. And the trimmer would not rotate back and forth... It took letting it DRY first for the trimmer to begin working. When it did work, it only got the big hairs but noticed alot of other hairs where still left in my nose... Overall not too great of a product.... I thought it would be better considering all the reviews

what I like about it is that is manual, no batteries required, & I nevere have to worry about cutting the inside of my nose again!

I purchased this for my husband and he loves it! It truly does the job and actually works better than the electric one he carries in his case. Don't hesitate to try this nose hair trimmer.

The Platinum XL is a surprisingly easy to use nose hair trimmer that doesn't have all of those "bells and whistles" of other battery or electric models that don't seem to offer much use anyway. This trimmer does a very good job of what it is supposed to do.
The rotary blades are very sharp and the way this thing is designed even if I wanted to I don't think that I could ever cut the skin in my nose no matter how hard I try.
The big difference between the Platinum XL and one of the Panasonics that I liked until it died on me is that the Panasonic doesn't really have a blade but rather a whirring, rotating thin foil cylinder and when the batteries start to fade the trimmer starts pulling out hairs instead of actually cutting them. The blades on the Platinum are actual round stainless steel blades and you get to control just how quickly you turn them and therefore you don't get pulled hairs.

This trimmer is meant to last a lifetime and backed up by a lifetime warranty. I was impressed with the company's service and speedy delivery and so far I am very happy with this trimmer.

It turned out to be just as I suspected. It works ok, but not great. It takes time to trim. You have to do it again and again which is frustrating. It's hard to trim some corners of the nose with this one. But I must appreciate the makers of this for the technology and durability.
