Philips Norelco T980 Turbo Vacuum Trimmer

OK. Let's just say that I'm looking for the perfect cut, without going to the barber shop. The Norelco T980 is good, but, it doesn't completely live up to the claims on the product details. Yes, it does have a turbo button that acts like a facial hair trimmer NOS booster. However, the blades don't seem to make a perfect cut. Even after spending considerable time, I still have the wild hair or two left that requires special attention. The vacuum, unlike how it is described, does NOT pick up all of the hair being cut. In fact, you'll find your sink littered with remains after even the briefest of jobs. All of this said, I've used a few other trimmers in the past and this is one of the best. One more thing, the device feels light (and a bit cheap).

This is a good trimmer. I like the vacuum suction. Also, you can make
adjustments to trim level without taking off the clipper guard/guide.
Very convenient product.

A bit large but that's a minor thing. I'm getting used to it already. Works VERY well. The vacuum and the turbo speed is nice.

I have tried several Trimmers but this one is really the best. It does the job for sure and it is simple and easy to clean.

ni-cad batteries - so last decade.
not replacable - in LESS than 3-5 yrs this is just trash.
other than that. a very good shaver
