Asian Home Décor - 30" Japanese Shoji End Table Nightstand w/ Shelf & Drawer ( Natural Pine )

I'm not going to lie, I was really excited when I found this item on amazon. I placed my order and waited in anticipatement for it to arrive. When it finally did, I opened the box to find a stapled shoddy piece of crap. The outside of the nightstand was fine, except for the fact the thing couldn't stand evenly. I had to put tape on the bottom to keep it from rocking. When I tried to slide in the actual drawer, the wooden inserts holding it broke off because they were stapled to the inside of the nightstand. Thats right, they were stapled. The guys at Ace Hardware told me it would be impossible to staple the pieces back into the nightstand because of the angle and risk of the staples ruining the nightstand. So I had to go and buy woodglue and line up the pieces and glue them back in place so they could hold the drawer. All in all, for the amount of money and time spent in putting this thing back together, I would honestly say spend your money on something else. I'm not trying to be negative nancy here, but seriously you can do a lot better.

The nightstands (I purchased a set of 2) were very well packaged and arrived on time. I only gave them 3 stars due to workmanship. The wood wasn't fitted together properly in numerous areas, but still looks nice. The color is beautiful (cherry) and if your bed is very tall, like mine, this nighstand is a perfect height. I like the 2 shelves and the roomy top drawer - everything fits perfectly.
