Zibra ZPCOPEN-OR Open It Universal Package Opener

This product will open clamshells as described, but it is very difficult to manage especially with poor hand strength. It required a great deal of effort on my part. However, the dangerous part happens when you accidentally push a button on the side and the knife pops into your palm. This has happened to me twice. Maybe it would not be a problem for others, but it is something I have to be wary of when I use it. I would not buy it again nor recommend it.

This thing really works. The offset blades and proper placement of the joint gives the needed leverage to simplify the awful task of opening modern packaging. It is possible to pinch the side of your hand if you hold it wrong, so be careful.

I often joke that by the time Christmas rolls around again, I've finally gotten all of LAST YEAR's kids toys out of their packages! I wish I found this tool earlier. It's HEAVY DUTY! The offset scissors work great to easily cut through any plastic package, regardless of how thick the plastic is. These are heavy duty and aren't likely to break or wear out, unlike so many of the other package opening tools available. Almost all of the others have been knocked for not holding up or can only open the simplest of packages and can't handle the thicker gauge plastic cases, plastic ties, etc. If you have this by your side next Christmas, you won't need anything else, no matter how thick the plastic case is, or the number of plastic ties, tape, etc! It'll save time and frustration. I think your peace of mind is worth the cost of this tool!
