Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount for nüvi Series and StreetPilot C5XX Series GPS Navigators (C530, C550, and C580)

i was very satisfied with, ijust set it on the dash and it dosent move an inch it is a wonderful product i strongly recommend it

When I purchased my Garmin nuvi 660, it came with the suction cup window mount. I never liked the window mount. It left marks on the window - inviting a break-in. It reduced the field of vision and was not easy to adjust the position. The friction mount is great. Put it anywhere you want, and it stays. I've used it in 2 different cars and a minivan; no problems at all. It works on flat, angled, curved, etc surfaces. I highly recommend this mount.

We use this with our Garmin nuvi 260W. It sets right were we put it on the dash and it allows us to toss it on the floor when we leave the car. Since we have two vehicles it is very quick and easy to move it from one to the other. Highly recommend it.

This is a fabulous holder for the older GPS systems that are not skinny! I got my GPS for Christmas last year and I love it except for the device hanging in the window and trailing the wire. Now, that is no more as it sits comfortably on my dash with the new holder. I would recommend this to anyone who has last year's GPS (or a fat one like the old TV sets).

I have bought three of these friction mounts in the last year. Two as gifts to go with Garmin nuvi 360's and one for myself to use with my Garmin nuvi 260W. I love this friction mount. It holds my Garmin securely on the dashboard of my car without sliding around. I have even slammed on brakes and it didn't go anywhere (thank goodness). I like the fact that you can remove it from the dashboard and put it out of sight when you leave the car and my mom and stepdad like that they can move it from one car to the other. I highly recommend this to anyone who owns a nuvi.
