I have not had any problems with this product. Stays in place and you don't have that suction cup mark on your window for thieves to see.

I just throw the entire thing in my lockable console and I don't have to worry about it.

Here in California, it is illegal to have an unmounted GPS. It is also illegal to have it stuck onto the windshield. This thing fixed that.

I bought this to replace my windshield mount (that kept falling off after 30 mnutes on cold glass). It works great in both my truck and car. I've not experienced any sliding whatsoever to date. My Nuvi 350 snapped right in place. It is less obtrusive than a window mount, and it is very convenient to just throw it under the seat and out of the way for those quick stops. I highly recommend this item!

I ordered this thinking that nothing came with the Garmin we purchased. So we ended up with both the suction mount and this friction mount. I strongly prefer the friction mount. It's so easy for the passenter to program something in while you're on the road. Great product!

I live in Florida and the Florida sun does a job on rubber. Bought this to make it easy to move from my car to our Motor Home. I can set it up on the dash and not worry about my Garmin Street Pilot 530 GPS moving or coming off the dash and being broken. Plus I can take it down and put it under the seat for security purposes. A good buy!
