Excellent Bluetooth Speaker
I bought this for my tech-challenged 78-year old mom. I have a ST3, but I thought the process of having to open and lose the microphone would make more sense to her.
She loves it. The sound is great and it works well with the voice dialing of her cell phone.

Blue Ant is Best
BlueAnt's Supertooth Light Bluetooth Speakerphone is a great product. It has crystal clear sound. Other brands seem to have poor sound quality. Very easy to setup and use, even for those technologically challenged. Good Value too. 2008-09-18

This is a winner!
I used to use a Plantronic 320 ear piece. When in my car, everyone I called could hear the road noise, the A/C blower, and static. The Blue Ant Supertooth was a quantum leap in clarity. No more ear discomfort, no more looking like a cyborg. Just clear sound. I also like the fact that I do not have to charge it every night. And for less than $100, it is a steal. 2008-09-17

Not a good Hands-Free
Puchased for my wife's car. Certainly loud enough but does not appear to be full duplex so the person at the other end hears echo of their voice or conversely blocks the speech from this unit. HArd to have a true two-way conversation. Did not fit on the visor (mirrors etc) so she has to use by putting it on the console or picking it up (not exactly hands-free!). I'd suggest looking at other options before you buy. I certainly am. 2008-09-15

BlueAnt Speakerphone VS VR3 Speakerphone
I've used both. The VR3 is ok, passible, usable. The BlueAnt is better and easier at bluetooth comm with your cellphone in the car (and both are soooo much easier that an earpiece!). BA clips to the visor, but holds to the clip with two strong magnets instead of a solid attachment. This is much handier, to take with you or in recharging the unit. You turn it on by pushing in on the retracted antenna-looking thingie (actually the mic) that pops out. Easier than finding a little button and holding it down. Sticking out, it tells you its on, an easier reminder to turn it off when you're done with it than the VR3. I'm told that both units sound clear to the person you're talking to. However, the BA is louder, clearer and easier for me to hear that person than when using the VR3, especially in my NOISY Honda CR-V (another story). Easy, bigger buttons and volume control, and stays on when plugging in the recharger. Does all I need it to do. 2008-09-14
